I hit a rather large pothole and after that my car won't start. I get full interior power, and when I do the old chevy trick on the starter(screwdriver+sparks!) it turns but does not engage the flywheel.
My thoughts are it is either a fuseable link or the starter solenoid. It has the customary electronic ignition most classics get installed aftermarket. Also it has a Viper alarm system installed and I am wondering if perhaps I messed its internal shock sensor up. In that, I disconnected the leads that control the starter kill and I still get nothing. I have went through and check my wiring harness and have found no burned wires or issues with it.
I have a decent knowledge of car repairs but I am having trouble identifying this problem. I don't really want to tow it down to my mechanic because I have a feeling this is a very simple fix from my groundwork.
