Error Code P0753

Had check engine light come on, plug in code scanner and recieved error code P0753, Shifter Solenoid A Circuit Electical. Found this code in the repair manual I have with the same definition, but no reference to what is the problem or what to replace.

Please tell me what will fix the problem or where to refere to in the repair manual...

Sound like a circuit short. Get a walmart test light and disconnect the wire harness at both ends. Hook the light to a positive power source and check each wire. if the light comes on you have a direct short to ground, just confirm that the wire is not a ground before attempting repair.
