I replaced the washer pump on my SUV but that was not the issue. The wipers work and I did not find a fuse that controls just the washer pump. Any ideas where to look next?

Thanks for any help

you can use a test light to check all fuses to see if any are blown. look under the driver's side dash and also under the hood for fuse block. if that is good then check to see if you have power going to the washer pump. if so, faulty pump if not, look for a broken wire or a bad ground. good luck

I was out checking the fuses and all look good. I replaced the washer pump because the last time it worked the spray was pretty weak so I just figured that went poof. I will check the wires to the pump and see if that is the issue. The only fuses I could find were under the drivers side dash, is there possibly another fuse block?

I looked under the hood but I am not sure where to look. The only fuse block mentioned in the owners manual is under the dash on the drivers side. The fuse there labeled 'wiper' is supposed to control both the wiper and washer functions and the wipers do work.
If you can point me a little closer that would be helpful.

it is possible the pump you bought is faulty. like i said before, use a test light to see if you have power going to the pump. if so, replace it with another one.

Is it possible that this is a recall? I have a 1996 Blazer and the front and back windshield wipers would not work. I had the motors replaced and they stopped working again. finally I took it to a dealership. Turns out that it was a part on it that was not right in production that kept them from working. I got it replaced for free! Try and looking it up to see if it is a recall. Might save you some money.
