1999 Chevy Blazer how to replace the fuel pump

1999 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I need to know how to safely replace the fuel pump on a 99 chevy blazer. How it is conected and is the anything I need to look out for and is there any thing I should absolutely stay away from.

the fuel pump is located directly in the middle of the frame at the back of the truck.... obviously its in the tank, so you will have to remove the fuel tank... grab a buddy, and a floor jack, and a block of wood... support the tank before u remove the 2 straps... lower it about 8 inches, disconnect the plugs on the sending unit, and your fuel lines.... very easy to do, just make sure u blow the dirt off the top of the tank before u remove the sending unit... and dont have a lit cigarette, haha
