Has the check engine light come on? My concern is the catylatic converter may be plugged. Have you checked that?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks (intake)? Also, have you checked fuel pump pressure?

The fuel pressure is 60psi with engine on . i will now check it with engine off and key on. I took the cat/conv off and checked it. I also ran the m/v w/out the convertor on and the m/v runs the same. It idles normal and no power when giving it a load.

I found that the fuel pressure is 52-54 with key on and engine off. I also hooked up my obd2 scanner and the scanner tells me it has to be connected to the m/v ( obviously it is connected) I then connected the scanner to another m/v and the scanner is reading fine but not when I hook it up to the 98 blazer.

The blazer is not idling anymore. I start it and it dies out.
Do you think fuel injector problems or sensors? I'm not a mechanic so my knowledge is limited.

It sounds more like a sensor. The fuel pressure is good. Make sure there isn't an intake gasket leaking.

Ok J+N,
I puuled the Spark plugs out and they are burnt to a crisp. I put in new plugs and tried to start it. It would not stay running. I pulled one plug out and it was black and smelled of fuel after only cranking the engine 3 times. I then cleaned that plug and returned it and pulled the fuel pump relay. The m/v started and ran rough for 10 sec then died obviously b/c of no fuel. Do u still think its a sensor or a fuel injector spider problem. If its a sensor what kind would it be. I'm sorry to sound like an idiot but i'm trying to fix this m/v. thx a bunch

do you think it could be the fuel regulator. Again i get 62 psi when the enginge was running ( now its not) and 56 psi with engine off key on.

The cannister that is attached to the engine pipe was clogged. I never thought to check that as I checked the cat/conv. Thx for the help though.
