I recently had my fuel pump replaced due to the vehicle died on the road. after a couple days i got a code described as EVAP small leak detected. I installed all fuel lines properly and the lock ring also put on without a problem. What else can cause this code? i have reset the OBD twice already.

The fuel fill pipe/hose and fuel fill cap. most common cause is the gas cap or a loose hose on the fuel filler hose or a cut in it.

The EVAP system purge pipe.
The EVAP vapor pipe.
The EVAP vent hose/pipe.
check all vaccum hoses and pipes for cracks or cuts

The EVAP canister.
The EVAP canister vent valve.
The EVAP canister purge valve.
have the canister checked.

The fuel sender assembly and/or seal.
The FTP sensor seal.
The fill limiter vent valve, pressure relief valve, rollover valves, and fuel tank
