Noises problem
1998 Chevy Blazer Four Wheel Drive Automatic 126000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Since last week my truck has been making a clanking noise when I drive it. (It may have been longer but I just noticed it last week). It seems to get louder the faster I go (30 mph or more) and I noticed when I don't accelerate(press on the gas) while the car is in motion, I don't really hear it. I put some air in my front tire thinking it was fairly low and rubbing up against something but it hasn't seemed to help. I also tried driving in 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive. No difference. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

I would start with checking the rear tail shaft uni's & tail shaft mounts, if the noise is only there while in motion it will be in the drive line.
