1998 Chevy Blazer bad compressor?

My air conditioner wsa recharged last year and didn't last long. it's blowing hot air, and I can hear the unit coming on. Could it be a bad compressor

if rechaging it makes it cool then it slowly go warm over time then i would suspect a leak in it letting out the freon into the air. be a very tiny leak but possible, check the pressure of the system to see if its the compressor or not.

How do I check the pressure in the compressor? Do they sell something?

i would take it in and have it done as your dealing with lots of pressure...
