1997 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

if the ignition switch is bad the car will not start correct? and when i try to start car and let off of the key i notice like a small backfire or maybe some back pressure? i dont know is that normal when ignition swith goes bad?

An ignition switch can cause the engine not to start. When you turn the key in, do the dash lights come on?

yeah they did. strange thing is the car sat for a day and i tried to strat it and it started rite up?? crazzy car

That sounds like a typical car. As soon as it gets to a mechanic, everything seems to get better.
