The oil cooler lines are leaking badly. I researched this and it seems like it is a very common problem with the s-10 chevy blazer. I was told that you can take off the oil cooler and lines, that they really are not necessary. If not, I thought about taking hose clamps and rubber sheet and wrapping the crimps in the lines. Do you think this will work?

If they are leaking bad replace them before they fail and dump all the engine oil while your driving. You can buy them at most parts stores and they are not hard to change.
Is the cooler really needed? That depends on how long you want the engine to last, if you tow with it or drive in hot climates.

Clamps and temporary repairs won't work on the cooler lines. Sorry.
