My truck is driving me crazy. I had a plug wire rub out so I replaced that.. now a month later with no other problems.. THEN one day I was driving out of a 2 track and my truck started to bog out. If I push the gas down much at all while it is in gear, it just bogs out and sputters.. but I can rev it up while it's in park. This makes no sense to me. I don't have a clue what it could be. EGR valve? Fuel Pump is getting weak? Mass air flow sensor is shot? I have already replaces the in-line fuel filter and that hadn't changed anything. I also replaced the spark plug that was fouled out due to the wire rubbing out. Please help me! I am replacing all the plugs tonight.. but I don't think that will fix anything.. Thank you so much!

check your fuel pressure, it should be 40 p[.s.i. minimum. then put a vacuum gauge on it and check the vacuum. if it's low, like 15" then check your converter for being plugged.

I checked my fuel pressure and it's at 40-42 psi (right where my friends same engine sits), my other thoughts where that it could be the mass air flow sensor, or the egr valve? I just don't know if there is any way the check those without just replacing them??

You really should have the engine scanned to see if there are any codes or free frame type things showing up. then check yoru crank and cam sensors for ohms. It may have to many ohms and when it heats up they act up but don't set a code....
