1996 Chevy Blazer battery

have trouble starting car in morning. battery seems to have drain off during night. went to check battery terminals and when I remove the negitive side it spark. left it disconnected and put a light across the negitive post to the negitive cable and the light came on.

ok. you're light proves you have a power drain.

leave the light hooked up between the cable and the battery and start pulling every fuse out until the light goes off.

then research that circuit.

pulled all fuses inside and the only one that did anything was the park lights. Dim a little but the light did not go out

now you have to start unplugging stuff.

i have seen some alternators do this. the bridge rectifier shorts and the windings have power going through them when the engine is off.
