I just had the fuel pressure regulator replaced, and was getting the best mileage ever. One day while driving, it just quit, and I couldn't start it again. I thought it might be the fuel pump, because I couldn't hear it when i turned the ignition, (which I always can). I brought it back to my mechanic who changed my fuel pump, but I am still having the same problem, and now my ECM fuse is burning out every time i turn it on. Was it even my fuel pump to begin with?!

You need to check the ECM fuse circuit back to the computer for short to ground-disconnect the computer.
