I have a 1993 chevy s10 blazer. It got stuck in 4 low and i couldn't get it out? I had to get it manually disconnected and now i don't have 4 wheel drive at all. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it. I also have alot of play in the wheel and i was wondering if the was an easy way to fix that.

Hi:
Do you have the electric shift 4wd? Also, the play in the steering can be caused by many things. Make sure the pitman arm is tight , tie rods... Also, if everyting in the front is tight, the steering gear may need adjusted or replaced.

Hi:
If you hear a clunk over a bump, have the ball joints checked. The noise could be coming from them.

Let me know what you find.

Hi:
On the 4wd, when you push the button for 4wd, you need to check if you are getting power to the electric actuator mounted on the transfer case. That is what actually shifts the gears for you. If there is no power, the switch may be the problem. If there is power and it doesn't shift, you will need to have the actuator checked. It will most likely be bad.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions.
