Brakes problem
1992 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

About 4 months ago we had brake problems. we replaced the pads and less than a week later the brakes were grinding again. To make a long story short we replace the front left pads twice, replaced the caliper twice, the master cylinder and the brake line once. Last night the brakes had a little grinding noise on a couple of the many stops we had to make but not very loud. I planned to buy new pads when I get paid this Friday. Tonight my daughter was coming home from work and the brakes went out completely. My husband has changed brakes dozens of times as well as this time and he has no idea of what is wrong. Can you please help us? Thank you.

Ensure that the brake system has been bled. You said you replaced the master cylinder, this requires additional bleeding.

First, you must bleed master cylinder as follows:

NOTE: During this process, MAKE SURE THAT THE RESERVOIR DOESN'T RUN DRY OF BRAKE FLUID.

Disconnect the lines from the master cylinder and place a pan or rugs under the cylinder.
Have an assistant depress the brake pedal and hold it down.
Block off the outlet ports with your fingers and have the assistant release the pedal. Make a tight seal with your finger, do not allow the cylinder to ingest air while the pedal is released.
Repeat above steps three or four times.
Connect the brake lines to the master cylinder and top up the fluid reservoir.

Now you must bleed lines and circuits.
Start from the farthest from clyinder. Bleed them right rear, left rear, right front, then left front with bleeder valves.
