I got my car about 6 months ago used. My problem with my car is that it fires back (this was going on for about 3 weeks) now it doesn't have any pickup to it and I have to put the pedal all the way down to the floor to have any pickup. My boyfriend noticed about 3 weeks ago that my gas tank cap was off and it rained that night. At that point I only had problems with the vehicle and never did before. I took the vehicle into Mr. Tire for new tires and they told me that I probably needed a tuned up and the fuel system to be cleaned. I have another mechanic looking at it at this point. I need your help, I am a single mother with two children and I do not want to get stranded nor do I want to waste my money on something that does not need to be done.
