I have a 1994 Chevy Beretta and recently had to replace the thermostat.
After this replacement I am having trouble with it overheating at times. Seems that in the morning I will start it and let it warm up for about 15 minutes before heading out to work. But I get in and no heat. The gage will read at half or slightly under.
Then start to drive and it will peg the gage. Sometimes revving it up or hard acceleration will cause heat and the gage to return to normal temp.
Also I have noticed that the tem will fluctuate while I have heat and am driving. Needle on the gage will bounce between just under half way to three quarter. Back and forth.
Do I have air in the system? And how do I get it out?
