Electrical problem
1992 Chevy Beretta 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1992 Chevrolet Beretta. Just recently the lights stopped working. DRL and Headlights and high beams. The emergency flashers and signal lights work. The fuses are fine and so are the bulbs. With a voltmeter I was able to determine that there is no power going to the fuse pannel for the lights. I was also wondering where the DRL box is located on the car?

Ok I do not show that a 92 Beretta has day time running lights (DRL). However I do show that the lighting is wired as such. From the fuse box to the headlight switch to the dimmer, which controls both high and low beams, then the bulbs. Check fuse number 7 is should be a 20amp. If needed do you have a digital multi meter or a test light? Get back to me with what you find.

The fuse pannel spot for the head lights has no power going to it. As I type the grounds are being checked and cleaned up. There is also no dashlights.
Where is the DRL box or switch located on the car?

I do not show that you year has DRL. Check for a break in wire from the batter to the fuse box with a volt meter. Let me know how it goes with grounds being cleaned. Also get back to me with production date and if it is Canadian or USA made.

The grounds are all cleaned and put back in place and still no lights. The wires have been checked there are no breaks. Production date would have to be 1991 if the car is a 1992, just to be sure where would I locate the production date? And I do believe it is an American made car, how do I check to be sure?
