Transmission problem
1959 Chevy Bel Air V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

I am working on a 57 chevy with a 4 speed manual transmission. I was trying to take out the speedometer gear to look at it to see if it needed replacing, but instead of taking it out, it fell into the transmission. I tried to get it with my fingers but couldn't get it. Is there an easy way to get it out?
