2007 Chevy Aveo

The engine intermittently misfires mostly during cold weather. We took it in to the dealership the first time and they reset the engine light and said it was a computer glitch, that there wasn't anything wrong with the car.
The very next day it was misfiring again and the engine light was back on. We took it back in and they test drove it again and again until it finally started misfiring for them. They said they "replaced the number one cylinder." We drove it home and it was misfiring again the very next morning. We took it back in and they said they had forgotten to connect a wire.
It ran fine for a week or two then it started misfiring again. So we took it back in and they "relearned the crankshaft variation on the check engine light". The weather was warmer after that and it drove fine for about three weeks then we got a cold snap the other day and it's started misfiring again.
We are so frustrated with this new car, we want to be rid of it so bad. What is wrong with this engine?
