I think my car maybe leaking oil but, I am wondering first if you would smell it or if my oil light would come on in the car?

HI there,
The warning light will come on only when the oil pressure is dangerously low, you would normally see a leak or see blue smoke out the exhaust and possibly smell it as well first.
