Recently while driving on level terrain with cruise control set at 65mph, speedometer suddenly started raising, indicated speed slowly up to 75-80 mph. Speed and rpm of vehicle definitely did not increase. As we slowed down, indicated speed dropped but not following actual vehicle speed. At rest speedometer still indicates 20-30 mph, jumping upward from there as vehicle accelerates, always well above actual speed. All other vehicle functions seem normal. Any ideas?
