Drives fine, but makes a whining humming noise
when in all wheel or four wheel drive. Sound
comes from front of the truck. Seems to be louder
when accelerating. What is it ? is it a problem ?

check your front diff fluid. sounds like you may have some bad bearing in the diff. there will be metal in the fluid if there is
