My truck has an idle problem only when the ambient temperature is below 40f on start up. When the engine is cold, the rpms rev to 2000 then fluctuate and try to stall. I have to hold the rpms above 1000 for about 2 minutes to keep the engine from stalling. Also, until the engine reaches normal temp, the idle at stops surges. There are new plugs, wires, air filter and afm which showed up on a code check but still have the problem. A recheck after code clear and engine light coming on showed the same problems. Any history from others? Thanks, CB

Check the intake manifold gaskets for a vacuum leak.
