Wheel loose = Wheel Bearing

with the wheel jacked up take the tire off. try moving the hub back and forth. if the bearings are bad you will be able to see it move. check the rest of the front end. if the bearings are bad check local auto stores to see what the cost is for new bearings. you can also check with a local junk yard to see if they have a complete hub for the car. but beware on used items, check to make sure they are all right before buying them.

Hiya guys I just wanted to add that one way and almost always the #1 way you can tell if you you have bearings would be that if you can drive the car and not far from home maybe up the block or so would be to listen to the car as it rides up the street if you can here a sound that sounds like rumbuling or constant thunder then oe of the joints is bad.

I also agree with doran, bad tie rods and or ball joints causes loose wheels.
