loss of power steering and power brakes

my 2000 chevy astro van with vortec v6 got stuck. upon unsticking after a lot of effort my power steering and power brakes went out at the same time. do you have any ideas

check to see if you lost the fan belt, check the p/s fluid level, if those are ok then the p/s pump went out. the pump runs fluid through the hydro booster which gives you power brakes.

the shaft for the pulley was broken. do you need to bleed the system or just let it run for a while and turn the steering wheel back and forth and make sure not to run low on fluid

just turn the wheel back and forth till all the air is forced out the top of the pump.
