I have a 97 chevy astro van (v6) with about 200000 miles. started to notice electronic issues, clock resetting, about two months ago. the battery is about a year old. it drains itself while the car is not running, brought it back to a full charge, started and ran fine, a day later, it is completely dead again.

trying to jump to recharge the battery. wont turn engine, just a clicking sound? any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!

Disconnect the positive battery post and put test light in between the disconnected cable and battery positive post is the test light lit-if so start removing fuses one at a time the one that turns off the light is the trouble circuit.

I notice there are large fuses inside the engine area and small ones under the dash. do I test all of them. really appreciate your help!

Sir,

You must test all of them
