I just installed a new alternator because I had heard sound from near the alternator that 2 mechanics said may be the alternator bearing.

After the install, I started up the engine and noticed my headlights were pulsing when I revved the engine. When I give the engine gas, the lights pulse quicker. Even the dome lights pulse!

What could be the cause of this? Could it be the new alternator? Or how about the belt tensioner?

Maybe the belt tensioner was failing and that was the sound i heard that I thought was coming from the alternator?

Please help!!!![img:14063d0790]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/333517_Photo_021808_002_1.jpg[/img:14063d0790]

Your problem could be coming from the logic module or the computer controlled of the alternator field generation
