sometimes when brakes are applied it seems that the va n does not want to stop . the brake pedal gets hard to push down almost not stopping van. could it be a speed sensor problem or what?

pedals hard to push in sometimes? i would check for damage in the brake booster since the pedal is hard to push.

or does the pedal go all the way down with little difference in braking power.
