1999 Chevy Astro stater stay on in park position

stater stay on after the engine is running, if it's in neutral or in gear no problem, if put back in park starter start to turn.
I replaced the ingnition in august because of theft.

I was stuck in the snow and when I put it in park for a minute the starter start to engage got no clue pls help me I'm lost

Hi:
I hate to say it but it sounds like you have a problem in the steering column or with the switch again. Based on your description, placing it back into park is causing something to short. Remove the switch and have it checked. If it's good, I hate to say it, but I think you may need to have an auto electric mechanic take apart the steering column.
