1998 Chevy Astro Rear Hatch Window

The rear hatch window will lock and unlock but the release button will not activate the relay to OPEN the door. Is there a release lever or cable so I can get the window up and can then open the dutch doors to fix the window portion?

no. you have to remove the rear panel from the inside as best as you can to access the release mechanism. can you hear the relay clicking when you press the release button? have you tried jumping the release switch? try hitting switch in neutral. get back to me if you need further help
