ok i posted no power at all,that was not true,lights do work ,is there some type of anti theft device on this vehicle that would activate when the ignition switch got broke that shuts off the power to crank,it wont click or anything.no power to the starter.

when the ignition switch was replaced was it reprogramed to work?

will it crank in neutral, does the radio work? warning lights come on when key is turned to on?

since the wheel is unlocked, you could choose to hot wire the vehicle if you dont want to replace the column, although i dont suggest doing it.

the switch is what makes everything happen, is the theft light on? if not thats not affecting it.

i can dig you up a diagram if you want to go through with the hotwire.

im not sure if i posted back to you in the right place,so i want to say again first of all thank you for helping me when no one eles would,i will need to be able to wire it because i just dont have the money to replace the whole column at this time,you have been so wonderful to me today and i just cant say thank you enough for giving me some peace of mind.
