Whats the secret? I can't get the crossmember bolts to break, they are too rusted. And I don't see how the crossmember will come out, it is installed on top of the frame.

I cant get the torque convertor bolts to break free.

Do I have to remove the cross member to get the trans out? If I can get the converter off the flywheel, will the trans drop clear of the crossmember?

I have everything else loose, and the trans is 2 inches separated. Now I know why I am an electrician.

Your going to need impact gun or breaker bar with a cheater pipe cross member must come out. If you get it loose raise trans turn is sideways like. Also torque converter must be unbolted. If the problem is flywheel keeps turning then take big screwdriver an wedge it between teeth and bellhousing. Good luck
