van been running good and all of a sudden it would't shift out of 1 gear noticed the radio off also put in park and checked fluid it was fine couldn't turn key either to turn off- messed with it carefully and everything came back to normal was told by j-yard mech. that it was either a bad connection at ignition switch -- sounds about right for symptoms do i need to replace the whole column or can i replace the ignition switch itself is this a hard job what is your opinion on this prob. also at the end of the day coming from work everthing was fine good shifts radio on where is ign. switch located on this van
