Engine problem
1993 Chevy Astro 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 187K miles

I have had the head gasket repair jusrt done. on a otherwise smooth running 1993 Astro..then a friend said- since it is high miles - about 187 K I shouldn't have had it done because i will invariably have a lot of problems now. My question is - what ishould the warranty be? and second. is it true that now I should expect problems. THis has been a great vano, ther than problems with EGR valve and water pump it has been trouble free. thank you
