I first noticed a promblem when braking, I would hear a clucking when I released the brake. Then a couple of days a was taking off after a stop and sounded like the u-joints had failed, when checking to see if this was the problem I found that the axle was rotating on the spring, it seemed that the attachment points on top of the spring had failed. Are there spring straps that can be installed to fix this problem?

Hi:
I'm confused... For the axle to spin on the springs, the U bolt has to be broken, and the differential has to spin too, which means the driveshaft is disconnected. Can you please explain.
