1989 Chevy Astro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

hi. My astro has high idle speed RPM ca.2000, how can I reduce speed.

Possibilities, the throttle is stuck open-- the iac has a problem-- vacuum leak-- other. Check you mil codes, see if anything shows-up.

The IAC is new and I have tested codes they are ok.

Are the throttle-body passages clean? If everything else checks ok, if it isn't a vacuum leak, I don't know. I may be barking up the wrong tree, I found this info?
