1988 Chevy Astro heater switch

Is there power coming from the switch? Is power getting to the motor? Did you replace the blower motor resister?

Hi Joe, thanks for your response to my question. Yes there is power on the inside and outside. we checked it with a tester, and put a new blower motor on it, an a water pump that went out. i also put a new control switch on the inside. you can feel the heat coming through the vent. what do you mean by resister?

Hi Mary: The blower motor resister is where the power goes from the switch before it gets to the blower motor. It could cause the blower motor to not function. The resister is located on a bracket on the right (passanger) side. I tried to upload a picture of it for you. I hope it works. (first try)

Hi Again, Mary. Sorry, I sent you the picture of the relay. There is no picture of the resister. However, I can tell you it is located in the blower housing near the motor.
