Check engine light flash on then off

My check engine light started flashing. I pulled over and turned off the car. I got out and tightened my gas cap. I just refilled. I turned it back on and it was off. The car seems to be running fine. What do you think it could be?

Good afternoon,

If the light was flashing, it is an indication of an engine misfire. It has nothing to do with your gas cap at all.

There is a code stored for the light and I need that code. A parts store will read the code for free.

How long since you had the plugs changed?

Once I get the code, I can narrow the area of failure for you.

Okay I attached the code description for you below. This code has nothing to do with the flashing check engine light.

You will need someone with a real scan tool to look at the history codes as I still think you have the misfire issue I listed in my previous post.
