Code P0299 and check engine light

P0299 code came on for turbo under boost. Can I put a aftermarket turbo on it and not have the check engine light come back on?

You could if the turbo is the cause of it. I would suggest running through this test and make sure that is the issue. If it turns out to be the turbo then putting an aftermarket would correct it.
