check fusible link in picture it runs off of starter to alternator should have twelve volts. if is okay have a mechanic scan for codes it may be a TPIM module problem or can bus problem.

what relay? there are none for charging. if it is corroded clean it off and where it plugs in best you can then use dielectric grease on prongs.

iti powers the alternator if it has power there then it's okat least if it's 12 volts or whatever your battery power is.

I have power at the post where the main wire connects with a nut 13mm. I do not have power at the plug that plugs into the alternator.

if you are a mechanic then scan it with your scanner to see if it's a can bus problem with a bad module. not a cheap auto parts scanner it won't pick it up

Why can't you answer my question of what the fusible link powers the stud or the plug I'm a backyard mechanic that label wasn't available don't have a scanner tried to get help here your 1st answer was fusible link already seen that somewhere else I just wanted a better understanding on what the fusible link powers since it's a 10g wire and the plug wires are only 16 or 18 gauge

If I had a scanner like that I would have scanned it and I wouldn't asking for help here.

Mr. Fusible Link powers nothing!

Mr. Fusible Link is a WIRE FUSE!

He is spliced into a wire.

If you will look back at the diagram that my partner, HMAC300 provided you can figure out that the RED/ GRAY that turns into green has Mr. Fusible Link in it.

Mr. Fusible Link is "Rated" in Gauge (10 in this case)

If he is blown/ burnt/ fried/ stretches out like a rubber band, it's time to replace him!

WITH ANOTHER 10 GAUGE FUSIBLE LINK!

Lot's of times he gets blown from someone hooking up jumper cables incorrectly, sometimes it's from something else.

the fusible link is a protective device which in your case would be the large wire or pole wher eit connects to I kind of though you could figure that part out since I sent the diagram. but in your case I really think this is a can/bus problem that needs a scanner hooked to it like I said previously to see what the problem is. next time don't put down you are a mechanic, put knows alot

also which cj said to replace with another 10 gauge is incorrect the link is probably 14 or so gauge so it burns up instead of 10 gauge but that 's something for auto parts to let you know.
