Not charging battery is good

First serpentine belt broke. Mechanic changed power steering pump, tension-er, A/C compressor and belt. Now we have charging problem. Replace burnt belt again and the alternator. Still not charging battery is good. A few months ago had a new radiator fan to go out, mechanic said fuse box under hood had a short. Mechanic does not think this is the problem. Mechanic still does not know why truck not charging had it two days again.

So, this looks pretty simple.

Got you this diagram from "Prodemand" (click on it at the bottom).

I am not seeing a fusible link.

Possible causes:

A bad connection

Skinned or shorted wires

A bad alternator

One of the three fuses may be blown or their legs may be burnt or corroded.
