Do I need to use anti-seize compound on the threads when replacing spark plugs

I am going to change the spark plugs on my truck. The Chilton's recommends anti-seize compound on the threads of the spark plugs. My question is, should I use it and if so should I use copper or aluminum anti-seize compound?

Hello, I am Danny.

You can use a little bit of the aluminum anti-seize. I would suggest wearing latex gloves and do them all at once because no matter how hard you will try it will get all over your hands. Also, be sure to use a spark plug socket as to not break/damage/crack the new ones when installing. Attached a link for you. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions if needed.
