changing cv axle drivers side, all bolts removed, can't pull it passed auto transmission

changing cv axle on drivers side, all bolts are out, can't pull the axle passed the automatic transmission. There's not enough clearance space.(cv axle TOTALLY DISCONNECTED). All youtube how-to videos show Manual transmissions not automatic, they have a larger clearance space. How do i get it out? I have to replace it!
