Transmission fluid change instructions needed

I attached the procedure below for changing the fluid and installing the new fluid.

Let me know if you have any other questions. It is a easy job but make sure you follow the filling instructions for the proper level on the plug at the side of the transmission.

You will need a long funnel with a thin end for filing.

I see it is common for these Cruze's to have hard shift issue, have you done the fluid replacement before and it fixed it or is it mostly a software update issue would you say?

Depends on what you mean as hard. With the newer transmissions, a soft shift is not the normal anymore. You should get a good solid feel of a shift but not one that rocks the seat.

Changing the fluid can change the shift if there is dirt or debris on any of the valves in the valve body.
