Hi, I just watched the videos on YouTube about “how to build a Ford 5.4 3V Engine” and these are really nice and helpful videos.
I got a question regarding the torque specs on the bolts which tighten and fix the main bearings. In the videos you used new studs and with nuts from ARP and also you explained the torque specs needed for them (20,40,60ft). I am just going to use brand new original Ford bolts (F6AZ-6345-AA) for this job. So, can I use the same torque specs for the bolts as for the ARP studs 20,40 and finally 60ft?
Or should I use the torque specs 32ft and finally another 90degrees as you used in the video to measure the squish between crankshaft and main bearing?
I am looking forward your feedback and thanks for helping
Best regards, Dustin
