Good morning,

How many amps is the new one you want to install?

It needs to have the same mountings and wire connections to work.

The pulley diameter has to be the same as well.

Due to the large aftermarket stereo system recently installed in my 2013 Explorer XLT. I must uprage the alternator. I had a custom 320 Amp High Output Alternator made by Singer Alternators. I will include pictures of the new alternator. I need to know how to remove the old and install the new. Also, I would like a professional opinion on fitament based on provided photos. Here is what Singer said in quotation "I have any of these options in a hairpin style that would bolt in place of the original factory location other then just calling for a shorter belt size for some that may require use of the smaller pulley size." Im worried about the hairpin ends for fitament. Please help with any advise and know how on alternator replacement on this vehicle ASAP. Thanks.
