All indications, no lights, ignition, etc., are that I need to replace the CTM. The original security system and an aftermarket system have been disabled. I don't need the key for auto-entry. I use a regular key to start and unlock it. If I get a used CTM and install it, will it need to be programmed?

The Central Timer Module (CTM) in your 2004 Dodge Durango is responsible for controlling many of the vehicle's functions,

the TImer Module is integrated inside the FCM. Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes.
