It sounds like you have a Foot-well Module under the left side of the dash is going out. To confirm lets check the power and ground by following this guide and the door lock wiring diagrams below:

Check the module for water damage as well. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
