CD stuck in player and battery drains

Does the fact that there is a CD stuck in the player have anything to do with my battery constantly discharging? It will not hold a charge but when battery was checked it showed it was a good battery.

As far as the CD, it can cause this issue. Take a look through the link below. It discusses things that can cause the battery to drain. One of the items discusses is exactly what you are dealing with. Additionally, it explains how to check if that is the actual problem. If you want an easy way to check if it is the CD player, remove the fuse for it and see if the battery still goes dead.
